Justin’s Witty Commentary:

This is a pretty standard average treadmill for walking and light running. If you plan to do marathons look for something higher-end, son. High points include above average speakers for a treadmill and a really nice looking and informative display. The belt size is smaller than similar treadmills, so try it out first if you are really tall or really run your ass off. Oh and if you have an iPod this has a iPod dock that will keep your iPod charged and play your tunes, but I’m not sure I really like the idea of being tethered to having to use an iPod – for instance, I have a Zune (don’t laugh) – I would have preferred a simple audio universal input that I could use with any music device.

    Thank you for your review.
Other reviews that I’ve read state that the treadbelt’s length of 50′ is not enough for tall people as it does not really accommodate long strides. What do you think?

    Thank you!

  2. Justin Says:

Hi Iraida! Like I stated in the witty comments section, that is a pretty short belt for this class of treadmill – and if you are tall or run at fast speeds this may not be for you just for this reason. I’m not even that tall – 5’9 – and prefer a 55 or even 60 inch belt. I just don’t like feeling cramped.

  3. Brenda Says:

Thanks for the review, Justin. By chance, how does this treadmill rate in loudness (not the speakers, but just the equipment)? Would you say the when powered-on (with the belt moving at an average speed) that it is loud or did Reebok do a decent job at making a quiet belt motor? Thanks for your input!

  4. Alec Says:

I am I glad that I bought a Nike Triax C5 Heart Rate Monitor Watch. It is really great at helping to keep me fit

  5. Larry Says:

2nd review I have looked at and no one states the weight of the unit…. would like to have it I have to move it. Another one I looked at is 200 Lbs

  6. Mike Says:

I think you made a mistake in detailing this machine..it has a 1.5 hp drive not the 2.5 you said it had.

  7. thedoctor2001 Says:

Larry, the unit weights 170 pounds.

  8. Justin Says:

Hi Mike! You are certainly correct – I’ve updated the post. Whoops!

  9. Angela Says:

How much noise do you think the neighbor below me will hear? If I am running will they hear the treadmill pounding? I don’t want to have the neighbors below bothered if I have a treadmill above them? Appreciate your input.
